Half price of Samsung Galaxy S4 might come by end of year.

A Snapdragon 800 phone with the unprecedented 4GB of RAM and coming at half the price of the Samsung Galaxy S4 has leaked out in China and it might be manufactured by Shenzhou company Hasee.

The mysterious device looks like it’s taken straight out of a nerd’s fairy tale book. The unprecedented 4 gigs of RAM is the maximum Android can go to right now. The 32-bit platform simply cannot support more than that, and China might be stretching the limits. Is this even possible, though? Two months ago SK Hynix announced its 8Gb LPDDR3 chip and it’s possible to stack four of these together to get the whopping 4GB of RAM.

The real question is how can the mysterious Hasee phone be that affordable? The rumored price is around 1799 yuan or $295 off contract. In comparison, the Galaxy S4 costs around $600 off contract and the Apple iPhone 5 sells for around $650.

The rest of the specs include 16GB and 32GB internal storage versions, a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front shooter and Adreno 330 graphics. All of that runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

The only slightly disturbing thing is the weight of the supposed upcoming Hasee phone coming at the weighty 195 grams (6.9 ounces). In exchange, you get a 2500mAh battery.

Take a look at the spec sheet below;

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Specs Leaks Online

Samsung is expected to lift the lid on the Galaxy S4 Mini at June 20, but as for the specifics inside, most of it has been a lot of guess work until now.

Sources claim the Galaxy S4 Mini will be powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The device will also have 1.5GB of RAM with a 8-megapixel rear camera, 2.1-megapixel snapper on the front, and a 540 x 960p qHD resolution display with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

The 4.3-inch phone appeared on Samsung's official apps page a few days ago, pretty much confirming its existence.

"Alongside the Mini, we're also expecting Samsung to drop a larger handset, with a leaked render appearing to show the whole family side by side" - Samsung.

Be Ready 4 The Next Galaxy

Samsung tweets 'Be Ready 4 The Next Galaxy' invitation for Times Square Galaxy S IV festivites March 14.

Samsung already sent out invitations for its big March 14 event in NYC, where it is widely expected to announce the 2013 Galaxy S IV flagship, and it seems the festivities will be spilling over to Times Square as well.

The Koreans haven't been shy with advertising dollars in the last few years, while building the Galaxy brand, outspending Apple more than ten-to-one last year, and that prime New York advertising real estate called Times Square won't come cheap again.

Samsung's Galaxy S4 to come with an S4 mini and a smart watch

The Galaxy S4, aka GT-I9500 or Altius, has been developed under the name Project J and could be announced in March. Well Project J now consists of a total of three devices, based on information about upcoming accessories.

Samsung's Project J mini, codenamed Serrano, hints towards a smaller smartphone which would be the Galaxy S4 mini. This isn't exactly an outrageous claim since Samsung has launched the Galaxy S3 mini to sit alongside the full size Galaxy S3.

SamMobile says the Galaxy S4 mini uses almost the same accessories as the Galaxy S4 but won't feature wireless charging. It is likely to be a cheaper and lower spec version of Samsung's new flagship smartphone.

The third device is called Project J Active, codenamed Fortius, and hasn't been full decided upon. It will come with accessories including an arm band, bike mount and punch suggesting it could be a smart watch. Samsung might call it the Galaxy Watch but alternatively it could be a smartphone similar to the Galaxy Xcover 2.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is tipped to feture an Exynos 5 Octa 8-core processor, 4.9in Full HD screen, wireless charging, a 13Mp camera and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.It has been suggested that Samsung will announce the handset outside of MWC (Mobile World Congress) on possibly 15 or 22 March. It will then be released and go on sale some time early in April.

Galaxy S4 reportedly set for March 15

Samsung Electronics is set to unveil the Galaxy S4 at its own event on March 15 and expected to go on sale in early April.

There's increasing hype and interest in the launch of the next Galaxy S smartphone, which Samsung has built up as a worthy rival to Apple's iPhone franchise. The Galaxy S III landed with all of the attention of an Apple launch, and the anticipation over the Galaxy S4 is expected to be even higher. The report has the invitations coming out after Mobile World Congress, which kicks off in the last week of February.

The Galaxy S4 will launch in Europe and Asia before the end of April, while the Americas, Australia, and Africa will get the phone around May or June.
